Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026 — by using SPblock you agree to these terms.

1. The service

SPblock provides a browser-based, visual programming environment for the ESP32 microcontroller: block editing, C++/Arduino code generation, optional AI assistance using your own Google API key, and USB flashing through the Web Serial API. Accounts and project storage are provided on a Cloudflare free-tier deployment and are offered as-is with best-effort availability.

2. Accounts

3. Acceptable use

4. Your content

Your projects remain yours. You grant the platform only the technical right to store and serve them back to you and to members you share them with. Shared projects can be opened by anyone with the share code — treat share codes like secrets.

5. Hardware

Flashing firmware writes to connected hardware at your direction. You are responsible for using boards and power supplies safely and for firmware you flash onto devices.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. BRICKED DEVICES, LOST PROJECTS, OR DATA LOSS ARE POSSIBLE; TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATORS OF THIS DEPLOYMENT ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE, AND TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (WHICH IS NOTHING ON THE FREE TIER).

7. Termination

Administrators may suspend or delete accounts for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and export your projects as files.

8. Changes

These terms may change; material updates will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
